I have an NTrak module as a starting point. Three blue dots on the left and three blue dot's on the right.
Scale is set to N.
Using Peco N 80 as my library.
I want a six inch piece of flex track going to the right of the upper left most blue dot.
I go to the length of the Insert Straight entry on the Track toolbar. I change the 1000 to 6, and I tab out of that field.
I click on the SL-300:-Flex entry at the top of the Peco library. A red rectangle appears around it.
I click the blue dot to which I want this six inch straight to be connected. I get a full thirty inch straight that extends well over half of the forty-eight inch (four feet) module. I don't want a full length piece of flex track, I just want six inches.
What am I doing wrong?
